Valentine's was alright - thankfully we managed to get dinner on time
before that we watched "Valkyrie" (where I learned that Hitler did not die after fifteen failed attempts of his assassination)
and then dinner at Fish&Co. at the Glasshouse

I'm getting kinda nervous because really, time doesn't wait
and very soon I won't be seeing Love so often ):
I just hope we get through fine

Friday I went back to school to help Uncle Jackson at the stall
because it would be particularly busy that day
and so I stood from 9AM - 3PM (:
Met Bestie and her friends (XinYee, Esther, Kelly and Edalene) at PS in the evening to grab dinner
followed by drinks at the Giraffe :D

And TWO-THEY,
met Bestie (again) to have picnic at Vivo's rooftop
saw Chan Li Wen before that yay
but our picnic very pathetic ah only have sandwich cos only two people ah

then we shopped around for my V'day stuff (which I shall prepare tomorrow :)
chilled at Starbucks, quick bite at LJS
and I went off to PS to meet Love (finally) after seven days of being quarantined from him ): ):

I'd Do Anything/ Thursday, February 05, 2009

I once told somebody, "To be worthy of the present and the future, we must let go of the past." But how do I do that when all I'm doing everyday is looking back, plunging into the deepest of memories hidden in messy heaps, digging up the oldest of archives and trying to put them into place? Memories serve as reminders that we've been there, done that; and they do not fade.

I do wonder sometimes if I'm just being over-emotional or thinking too much, but I guess everyone would want a piece of their past every now and then. An hour, thirty minutes, fifteen seconds or even one millisecond - it wouldn't matter because there's just something about our past we have chosen to hold onto, something we have refused to let go of.

And so of course, I'd do anything to return to those days where every academic hour of my life seemed to drag as I fought my way towards the finish line. It seriously doesn't matter how many papers I had to do anymore. I'd do anything to go back to the place where I found my small yet endearing group of friends, to the same exact spot in my heart where I found you as my boulder of strength and protection. Intuitively, communications have frozen somehow for things today are not what they were - that's why the past still holds, firmly in my grasp.

I'd also do anything to go back to taking long journeys to school, to going through endless lectures and tutorials, to being put through every kind of emotional or physical or mental challenge that existed... Looking back is easy. Going back isn't.

But life still moves on because it's not for us to decide when to reach out to the clock to turn back time. The past shall merely hang around us like how the water droplets do after it rains, and all we can do is to rewind and dream up the imaginary figures, but this time only in our heads.

and I can't believe I played Wii till my arms ached
when I didn't even exert so much force ):

Same ol' boring weekend
but still, time jets when we don't want it to

haha was hilarious to watch Hannah play
