"Graduation is only a concept. In real life everyday you graduate. Graduation is a process that goes on until the last day of your life. If you can grasp that, you'll make a difference." - Arie Penconvici
I read that yesterday. And it still makes sense to me today.

Yesterday was our Graduation. Perhaps I'll find it really hard to accept that I'll be leaving soon. Very soon.
A quick review of the day's programme..

Guests arrived, bla bla. In the midst of it all, they decided to play our graduation videos. They played 4E1.. 5N2.. the 4Ts.. 4E4, 4E3.. Where was 4E2's???
Everyone demanded to know. Finally, YangLing and me realized that Mr Chua had misplaced the video. It was gone.
YuPing broke down. =( We couldn't take her crying on Graduation. So YangLing and I asked Mr Chua politely if he would find our class video. I just knew YanTing and ShiQi were fuming mad beside me.
A miracle happened after the singing of our school song. THEY FOUND OUR VIDEO. YAY.
It was such a happy moment all of us clapped and cheered. The whole hall fell silent as the video was played. I had no idea why.
After our video, 4E2 stood up and clapped. =) I LOVE YOU PEOPLE.
We then had our very own guitar ensemble, who played the song "If We Hold On Together", which was kinda long but okay overall. Great job guys! =D
Uhh. Then the Guest of Honour gave his speech.... about his life. Yupp.
The choir came in quite early though. They sang some Dixieland song and another inspiring piece. I thought the Sopranos were beautiful. And the Tenor and Basses has improved tremendously. Keep it up choir! We seniors will always be proud of you!!
Thanks LOADS to Mr Liew too. =D
Then we had our Valedictorian speech. Luke, it was OKAY. You did perfectly fine. And I'm still proud of you. =)
Finally, class by class went up on-stage to receive our little souvenir, which happened to be, a badge with our Sec 1 and Sec 3 photo on it. I was laughing my head off.
Afterwhich was the annoucement of the marriage of two teachers in our school - Mr Gauis Lee and Ms Looi. I mean, it was SO SWEET LAH. Joseph, our head prefect, invited classes of 4E1 and 4N2 (Mr Lee and Ms Looi's form classes) to stand along the red carpet with party poppers and when they walked through, yup. There were loads of roaring and cheering.
Finally the engaged couple were up on-stage, and Joseph requested for Mr Lee to sing to a song which was played, "I Swear". We could all see he was trying to dedicate the song to Ms Looi, but he went a lil off-tune lah. But a good sport!! =D
Then we had our Principal's teach, to which all of us fell silent again. Lol.
More commotion when the prefects pushed out wine glasses stacked on top of each other and invited Mr Lee and Ms Looi on-stage again. Mr Lee seemed like he couldn't open the wine bottle. Hahas. It popped out finally, and Mr Lee tried to make it look like it flew open when actually he was throwing it manually. LOL.
Everything ended when parents and guests were invited to proceed to the canteen for refreshments. Then all hell broke loose.
Because everyone started clamouring over our form teachers for report books and stuff. I got mine back, with this card in it. I swear I wanted to cry right there. I didn't expect the teachers to be doing all this for us. =)

The first page.
Then..

When I was reading all these messages I swear I wanted to cry so bad.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TEACHERS. I truly cherish the fact that you guys have taught me and groomed me into who I am today. I truly thank you, because of you, I am who I am today, and I am who you want me to be. =)))) LOVE YOU GUYS!
My results were okay. Mom was quite happy with it. I wasn't expecting it anyway.
Took LOADS of photos. Will upload the nice ones here.
Here we go.

Kelin, all these years I've been with you, you've given me nothing but truckloads of laughter and sunshine. I cherish you loads and I won't want to lose someone like you. Remember you'll always have that fighter spirit in you which will break free one day. <3

Ai Shan, I remember the times we can spend hours talking on the phone about anything or nothing at all. And all the times you pulled me through when I felt so helpless and down. Because of you I believed in myself once again and I thank you for bringing the faith. <3

Yang Ling, you bring on laughter and joy whenever you're around. You're the joker of the class and the one who will cheer me up when I feel like I can't pull through. Love all your "You-dunno??!" and "500 and $500" jokes. <3

Wanning, you've been there for me when I needed you and you never pushed me away. I found trust in you. Thanks for all these years. <3

Ivy, my pretty neighbour. We shall spend our days drinking bubble tea and eating Old Chang Kee while walking down the streets of Tiong Bahru to our homes. I miss those times. So sorry now that I can't do all these with you. But one day, I definitely will. <3

Brian, my sweet brother. It's been 4 years. What else can I say? You understand me the way YanTing does. And you'll always be there for me, wherever I am, whatever it is. I truly cherish you, and I treasure all the times we spent together, on the phone, in school, at home or out. When there's you, there's bound to be laughter. You never fail to lighten me up. Thanks bro. Just know I'll always be here for you too. <3

Jahan, thanks for sticking up for me, and being there when I needed help. I love all your sick jokes. Haha. Always believe in yourself when you're doing History and just know you'll make it through with Ai Shan and me. Eh, you haven't returned me my notes leh. <3

YuTing, you made me believe with your faith and strength. Your determination spurred to drive me on whenever I felt like giving up. You're the strength I always seek to find whenever I slipped to the bottom. Thanks girl. You've given me so much, I hope I gave you enough too. <3

YuHwang, remember everything takes time, and time will heal all the hurt, your wounds and the deepest scars. Before you know it, the pain will be gone. You've been my joy and my light, my best friend whenever I needed you to be around. I appreciate loads the times you were around for me and all the ways you helped me through. You may say you didn't do much, but to me, it means a lot. Thanks for tolerating Luke's and my teasing about you-know-who. =P Did I say? You're like a brother to me too. <3

Ah Roy ah, thanks for being vice-chairman and always being so sweet in helping me carry the heavy stuff. You're seriously the A* student of 4E2 and I'm very proud of you to be earning the honours for us. Though we're not as close, I'll always remember the times you made me laugh. Thanks loads dude. <3

Joe, I remember always screaming your name out loud in school and you'd always turn to wave and flash me your sweet smile. I share all my ups and downs with you online and you'll never fail to be there for me whenever I needed someone to talk to. I found trust, faith and strength in you and you'll always make me laugh when you know I'm down. I don't have to say a word and you know how I feel. Its amazing how you are. Thanks for everything, I truly appreciate it. <3

Luke, what can I say? I don't have to say a thing. Between us, silence will be something we'll never be afraid of. <3

Mr Liew, I remember the times I was in choir and I remember the times I was so afraid of you. I never knew how I managed to overcome the fear and open up to you and saw you as my friend. I'd always look forward to you teaching us the beauty of music and the valuable lessons of life. Through simply music itself, you've taught me to stand tall with confidence, to stride through life with a positive outlook carrying a "Never Say Die" attitude. Attitude, character and values were of utmost importance to you. I can't thank you enough for all your lessons. I'll definitely look forward to be taught under you again. <3

Mrs Mak, I'll always remember the things you said - Kindness is the language the deaf can hear and the blind can see. Though I don't take POA, I know you teach the POA students with the best ability possible. Thanks for all the efforts you put in for 4E2. We'll always cherish you. <3

Mr Chua, the way you teach Physics is more than amazing. You'll never fail to crack up the class and keep us awake the whole time. Tho' you've only taught me for a short period of time, I appreciate the times I gained the knowledge from you. <3

Mr Singh, I've definitely learnt and benefitted a lot from your SS lessons. I attend your class knowing I'll learn something and laugh over your jokes. Thanks for always being there for consultation. <3
And finally, the aftermath of our Graduation.

Graduated.
